About the owner…
Allow me to introduce myself,
My name is Paige and I’m the owner of Earase. I live in Full Sutton (just outside of York) with my husband, our son and our spaniel, Dobby!
I have over 10 years experience in healthcare and have worked in both physical and mental health roles over the years. After having my son, I wanted to find a way to work more flexibly to spend time with him, while still fulfilling my own desire to help others and maintain my skills.
Our mission
The struggle to get an appointment for ear wax removal was something I heard time and time again over the last few years working for the NHS, with many GP surgeries no longer offering the service. I decided to look more into this to see if I could help, and was surprised to learn just how big the problem was.
Ear wax build up is an issue for around 2.3 million people in the UK every year. It can cause hearing loss, pain, dizziness and ringing in the ears to name just a few. The impact of hearing loss can also be detrimental to a persons mental health, with some studies reporting an increase in social isolation, depression and anxiety.
After learning all this, I was eager to help and the idea for Earase was born! I am beyond excited to be helping new customers to hear better, and aim to respond to your messages as quickly as possible.
Evening and weekend appointments also available. Extended visits can also be arranged for those who may find the process difficult or anxiety provoking. I believe every appointment should be tailored to your needs, so please let me know if you require any reasonable adjustments.
